Right around January, in the dead of winter, a certain homesickness kicks in. I yearn to be in Chautauqua, listening to the symphony perform and licking ice cream off of cones on the second floor porch. The best part about summer, and Chautauqua, for me, is the time that I get to spend with the family there. Anybody with me?
To try to satisfy my desire for it to be summer so I can see all of you again, I thought it might be a good idea to create a family blog. I know Aunt Sarah has put a lot of work into putting pictures together, and that most of us have Facebooks, but what's one more venue to stay connected during the dreaded winter months? Since I've been learning a lot about Blogger in school lately, I figured I could put my skills to good use. We can use this site for all sorts of things, from birthday wishes to sharing pictures to telling funny stories.
